Blogging after two years
Is coming to an end my second year of blogging after really, really long break from this activity which lasted from about 2013. So this is the second year of blogging since I discovered the trend for personal blogs never disappeared. There was simply quite well hidden under social media and other things on the Internet.
In this year I'm definitely more active blogger than during 2024. I’ve counted five posts in 2024, but I know there were more of the. Some of them I removed. I don’t know was it good or not. I don’t want to judge this decision. I like to think it was part of my experiment of blogging and an attempt to find my place in this world. And finding my own way of blogging and writing style.
I think I'm getting better at it. I would still like to improve many things and improve writing, but I feel like I'm making progress. December 2025 is my most active month since started blogging in last year. There is my sixth post on blog in this month. Yes, I know. It's pure madness. [laugh] I hope this is just the beginning and I’ll be able to continue this streak on January. „Third year of blogging” will be sounds really good.
I came to like blogging for a few reasons:
- interesting and sometimes unobvious thoughts,
- meeting new people with whom I can communicate via e-mail or Mastodon,
- continuously discovering new authors and blogs,
- improving language skills.
I really enjoy reading other people's posts in English. This is not my native language. I live in Poland and my native language is Polish. I learn English from some time. My teacher says that I'm getting better and better. Reading blogs in English is really great fun and part of my learning process. Even if I don’t get every word or sentences and I have to find the meanings in dictionary.
In new year I would like to go back to German. Therefore I try to find blogs writing in this language. The search is ongoing, but if you know someone who has personal blog in German or you are an author in German, please let me know by e-mail or Mastodon. Links below.
