About me
Hello. I'm Sebastian. Interested in digital media, evolution of communication on the Internet, blogging, history and classical music. I really like IndieWeb and Fediverse. For some time now I'm switching to Fediverse and open source and try to escape from big tech companies if I can. I love RSS. I miss the days without algorithms and tracking every user's move on the Internet. I am rediscovering the blogosphere.
In free time I like ride a bike and reading books. I love to read paper books. Love their smell and the rustling of the pages. Also really like listening radio documentaries.
About my blog
This site is a personal blog about human in tech world and various observations around.
My blog has an 'A' carbon rating which means that it consumes almost no energy, and this means that it's light years ahead of most websites on the Internet.
I also avoid trackers and data collection, as confirmed by this test.
I write here: articles, weeknotes, notes and photos. You'll find it all organised by tags on this page. All entries sorted by publication year you can find on this page.
About my blogging
I started blogging in 2007. Started write about sport which is my hobby. Then wrote about everything on another blog. After few years I stopped writing. I don't know why, but that's what happened.
Over the years of blogging I realised sometimes I more like tikering with the blog than writing. This interest has continued to this day.
In 2024, I decided to return to blogging, but to write in English. This is not so obvious for me, because I come from Poland and live in this country. English is not my native language. Despite this, I decided to do it. Also because I wanted to improve my knowledge of this language.
